THE STORY BEHIND ELLA'S COPPER
More than jewellery
Hi, my name is Ella.
I didn't set out to build a brand. I set out to find something real.
I'd spent years looking for copper jewellery that felt honest — not mass-produced, not plated, not made by a machine in a warehouse somewhere. Something that came from a place with a history. Something made by hands that actually knew what they were doing.
That search took me to Calama, Chile — a city sitting beside the largest copper mine on earth. A place where people have worked this metal for thousands of years. Long before the Incas. Long before anyone thought to call it a wellness trend.
I walked into a workshop and watched a craftsman shape a cuff from raw copper without looking at a template. He'd made the same movement ten thousand times. His father had made it before him. His son was learning it in the corner of the room.
I knew I'd found what I was looking for.

Why I do it this way.
Every piece in the Ella's Copper collection is designed by me and made by hand in Calama — forged only after your order comes in. No machines. No plating. No shortcuts. We use 99.9% pure copper from the Atacama Desert, the most concentrated copper source on earth.
It takes a little longer to arrive. That's because someone is making it for you, specifically, right now.
I started Ella's Copper because I couldn't find anything that felt this real anywhere else. I'm sharing it because I don't think I should keep it to myself.
I hope the copper treats you well.
